Week of January 11th-14th

Dear Parents,

I hope everyone had a great weekend.  Grades will be closing on the 14th for report cards.  We will be finishing up History this week so that we can start Science and Health next week.  This week we will discuss the first four of the plagues in Bible.  We began last week working on our planners.  Please help your students use this tool to know what their homework is for the night.  Please sign your student’s planners every night.  Students will be receiving a few more pages of homework in math each week.  Students need to be practicing math facts and telling time at home.  This will help with making sure that all students are fluent in these areas.  You may have heard already but Mr. Dipert is leaving to complete his student teaching.  Mr. Dipert teaches music and computer classes.  Reminder, there will be NO SCHOOL on Friday, January 15th due to the Spelling Bee and Teacher In-Service and Monday, January 18th for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.  Have a great week!!

Sincerely,

                                                Mrs. Oliver
