Week of April 19-23rd

 

 

Dear Parents,

 

This week is SAT testing.  Please make sure your student gets plenty of rest and eats a healthy breakfast before school.  Testing will only be completed in the morning and during the afternoon we will be learning about oceans, kelp forests, and the coral reefs.  On Thursday we will be discussing earth day and why it is important.  Friday, April 23rd is our Field Trip to see the “Oceans” film.  Please if you have not turned in your permission slip or money do it as ASAP, or your student will not be aloud to attend.  If you can drive please make sure to let the office know immediately.  This week we will not have any homework, however I would like students to complete their reading logs.  Thank you so much for helping Autumn raise money for Relay for Life.  She is so close to her $100 goal, so if you still have extra change we would really appreciate your support.  The Carnival is coming.  I have attached an additional letter discussing the carnival, 2nd grade booth, and the classroom basket.  Have a great week!!
